PIX Process Studio

B2B platform for creating and managing business processes.

Project Overview

PIX Process Studio is a cornerstone of an enterprise-grade ecosystem designed for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Business Process Management (BPM). The platform empowers large-scale organizations to discover, model, and automate complex business workflows, bridging the gap between manual operations and intelligent automation.

In my role as a **Senior Product Designer**, I was responsible for the end-to-end design process of core platform modules, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate highly technical requirements into intuitive user experiences.

Note: Due to a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), specific internal architectures, proprietary algorithms, and sensitive business metrics are not disclosed in this case study.

Key Contributions & Improvements

Unified Design System

Developed and scaled a comprehensive design system that unified the visual language across the entire PIX ecosystem, ensuring consistency between the Studio, Robot, and Orchestrator interfaces.

Visual Workflow Builder

Redesigned the core modeling engine to simplify complex logic creation. By introducing a more ergonomic node-based interface, we reduced the learning curve for business analysts and non-technical users.

Process Mining UI

Led the design for the Process Mining module, transforming massive datasets into intuitive heatmaps and actionable visual flows that help organizations identify operational bottlenecks.

Advanced Scalability

Implemented a modular layout architecture that allowed the platform to support an ever-expanding set of automation activities and properties while maintaining low cognitive load.

Impact

The transition to the new design system and refined UX patterns significantly improved development speed for the engineering team and reduced the onboarding time for new enterprise clients. The platform's modernized interface played a key role in strengthening its position in the competitive RPA market.
